Damien played for St Marys for 12 seasons culminating in 7 premierships 1983/84, 1984/85, 1985/86, 1986/87, 1987/88, 1989/90,
1990/91 and 2 loosing grand finals 1982/83 and 1992/93. He was one of the eight players to play in the record five premierships
in a row
He was a NT Secondary Schoolboy representative in 1981 and 1982 and Captain of the team that won the National title earning
him All Australian selection in the same year. He was also a Teal Cup representative in 1983 and 1884 when He was Captain
He played a total of 48 junior games in U/16s (29 games) and U/18s (19 games) with St Marys kicking 37 goals (25 and 12
respectively)
Damien represented the NTFL at senior level on 13 occasions Alice Springs 1984, Essendon 1986,1989 and 1990, Sydney Swans
1987 where he won the Australia Day Medal, North Melbourne 1988,Tasmania and the VFA in the 1988 Bi- Centennial Carnival,
Port Adelaide 1989, St Kilda 1990, Hawthorn 1991, Geelong 1992 and
Melbourne 1993
Damien also played under 19 and Reserve grade with Footscray in 1984 and 1987
He played a total of 161 games and kicked 52 goals earning him Player Life membership at St Marys
